Femtech comes in many forms, and through our Healthtech of the Week series, we want to showcase the full spectrum. One tool that caught our attention is Finally.me – a project recognized in Forbes’ competition, which redefines the approach to gynecology by placing women’s intimate well-being at the center. Its flagship solution, the Intimate Well-Being Analysis, is a digital preventive and educational tool that acts as a bridge between the patient and the doctor.
At the core of the tool is a comprehensive questionnaire with over 70 questions covering topics such as menstrual cycles, pain-related ailments, hormonal imbalances, and accompanying symptoms. The answers are analyzed using a weighted system, allowing for a precise assessment of how specific symptoms affect intimate well-being.
The results compare the user’s reported symptoms to those associated with nine of the most common gynecological conditions, such as endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS, PMS, intimate infections, uterine fibroids, primary dysmenorrhea, and perimenopause. Importantly, the tool does not provide a diagnosis. Instead, it highlights possible areas requiring specialist consultation and serves as a starting point for a conversation with a doctor.
– We wanted to create a solution that helps women better understand their symptoms and gives them a tool to communicate more effectively with doctors. The analysis is free because its purpose is education and support, not to replace clinical diagnostics – says Monika Kowalewska, co-founder of Finally.me.
After completing the questionnaire, users can purchase a personalized set of recommendations prepared by an interdisciplinary team – including a psychologist, a urogynecological physiotherapist, a pharmacologist, and a nutrition therapist from the Finally.me Scientific Board. The recommendations cover both self-implementable actions and guidance on necessary consultations and tests.
Priority: Data Security and Medical Compliance
All algorithms and educational content are based on scientific evidence, current medical procedures, and the recommendations of the Polish Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians. The project was developed in collaboration with experts such as Prof. Krzysztof Nowosielski, Dr. Adriana Bil, and gynecological educator Aga Szuścik.
From the start, the Finally.me team designed the tool with the utmost protection of user data in mind. The questionnaire is hosted on a dedicated server and uses an independent database, separated from the e-commerce system (Shopify). All data is encrypted, accessible only to the company’s IT department. It is not integrated with third-party applications or purchase histories, minimizing the risk of information leaks.
– Patient data security is the absolute foundation of our solution. Every element of the system architecture was designed to minimize risk and maintain full control over data flow – emphasizes Kowalewska.
What’s Next? AI, Personalization, and Education
Although the Finally.me team is considering integrating AI tools – particularly to personalize recommendations and detect symptom patterns – their top priority remains ensuring full alignment with current medical knowledge and safeguarding user security.
The brand also plans to further expand the educational aspect of the tool, which already includes video materials, practical guides, and a knowledge hub on the most common gynecological issues. A strong emphasis is placed on inclusivity and incorporating the real-life experiences of women from diverse backgrounds, both in Poland and with a view toward future international expansion.
Why Does This Matter?
Despite improved access to doctors and diagnostic testing, many women’s health issues – such as menstrual pain, heavy bleeding, or urinary incontinence – are still often downplayed. For years, gynecology has focused mainly on reproduction and cancer, overlooking prevention and the everyday comfort of patients. Finally.me addresses this gap by offering a solution that not only helps women understand their symptoms but also empowers them in their interactions with the healthcare system.
Femtech in 10 Years – Without the Label
The founders of Finally.me believe that in a decade, we won’t be talking about “femtech” but simply “healthtech,” as solutions designed for women will no longer be treated as a niche. They stress that investors should focus on data and real needs because improving the quality of life for half the population is not a trend but a major market and social opportunity.
We hope these words prove prophetic and that the project spreads its wings even further!
